Desktop companion
A little butterfly that keeps you company, gently.
Soyo flutters across your screen, rests on the edge of your windows and, now and then, leaves you a kind word. It is there when you need it, and never in your way.

Our story
Born as a gift
Soyo began as a present for someone very dear. Now it would like to keep you company, too — quietly, like a spring breeze through an open window.
In Japanese, “soyo” calls to mind soyokaze (そよ風): a soft, gentle breeze.
Features
Small things, made with care
Six butterflies
From the blue morpho to the glasswing: six species, with three-dimensional wings that change colour with the light.
Never in your way
It rests where it won’t bother you, hides by itself when you go full screen, and stays out of sight when you share your screen.
A kind word
Now and then, a little bubble with encouragement, or a reminder to stretch, rest your eyes or drink some water.
Light and private
Under 3 MB on Windows. It collects nothing about you: what happens on your desktop stays there. It only checks once a day for a new version, and you can turn that off.
Coming soon
Soon fluttering down to your desktop.
